Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to receive my horse’s wellness plan after the consultation?

Within three business days, you will receive a written summary of the consultation and clear next steps for your horse, followed by a 15-minute follow-up by chat, text, or phone.

Do I need experience with essential oils?

Not at all. I will provide clear instructions and guide you through the safe use of any essential oils recommended for your horse.

What if I don’t have any essential oils yet?

That is perfectly fine. After our consultation, I will include specific recommendations in your horse’s wellness plan, along with links to purchase any essential oils you may need.

Does my horse need to be present during the virtual consultation?

No. The consultation is a focused conversation about your horse’s history, personality, needs, and what you have already tried. Photos or other helpful information may be shared during the call or emailed in advance.

What is the 15-minute follow-up for?

The follow-up gives you an opportunity to ask questions about your wellness plan, clarify the recommendations, and discuss how things are going after you begin using them.

How far do you travel?

I am based in Bunnlevel, North Carolina, near Anderson Creek Primary School. Travel distance and the applicable fee will be discussed during your discovery call and confirmed before you book your appointment.

Can more than one horse be scheduled at the same location?

Yes. Each horse is priced separately, but the travel fee may be shared when more than one horse is scheduled at the same location.

When is payment due?

Payment is due before the consultation or session begins. You will receive an invoice showing the confirmed charges before your appointment. If an additional essential oil is recommended during the session, I will discuss the cost with you and get your approval before using it. Any approved additional charge will be billed separately.

Are you certified and professionally insured?

Yes. I am a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist, Level II Animal Aromatherapy Specialist, Fear Free Certified, and professionally insured through Alternative Balance.
